My sister, Elizabeth, went to the NASFT’s 2012 Summer Fancy Food Show as the Spoonable rep. (She’s a natural at networking.) We didn’t win gold but we got a lot of attention which is turning into vendors across the US, online retail sales and some great follow-up PR like getting on the Today Show!
If any small business people in the food industry read this I highly recommend making the NASFT a part of your business plan. Attend, submit your product to their competition and make use of the networking. They can do a lot for you.
